Sapphire Reserve & Amex Resy, in LA

Two premium-card dining perks, and the Los Angeles restaurants that actually qualify for each.

If you carry a Chase Sapphire Reserve or an American Express card with Global Dining Access, you've got dining perks sitting on the card that most people never use, mostly because it's genuinely unclear which restaurants count. Both programs below are separate from everyday points-earning - they're about specific restaurant lists tied to a credit or a reservation perk. Here's how each one works and who's currently on the list, for Los Angeles only.

Chase Sapphire Reserve: the $300 dining credit

Up to $300 a year in statement credits, split into two $150 halves, for dining at restaurants on Chase's "Sapphire Reserve Exclusive Tables" program - booked through OpenTable. This is separate from the card's everyday 3x points on dining worldwide; you get the 3x no matter where you eat, but the credit and the priority reservation access only apply at restaurants on this specific list.

Chase doesn't publish this list itself, which means it's compiled here from third-party trackers rather than an official source, and restaurants are added and dropped from it fairly often. Treat it as a strong starting point, not a guarantee, and double-check in OpenTable before counting on a specific spot.

Amex Global Dining Access by Resy

A perk on select American Express cards that gets you priority and otherwise-unavailable reservations at a curated set of restaurants through Resy, plus occasional dining credits depending on your card. There's no separate statement credit tied to this one the way there is with Chase - the value is in actually getting the table.

Unlike Chase's list, Amex runs an official, live directory for this program directly on Resy's site, so the list below is pulled straight from there rather than from a tracker - current as of the date noted below, though it can still change.

Restaurant lists last checked Oct 2, 2026. Chase's list is sourced from third-party trackers (not published by Chase) and changes often; Amex's list is pulled from Resy's own directory and is more reliable, but still worth confirming before you book. Tags for both programs also show up next to matching restaurants on the full restaurant list - filter by "Sapphire Reserve" or "Amex Resy" to see them on the map.
